Bruce Lewis

(Member of Barons of Barbershop, Dukes Of Harmony & The Barbershop Harmony Society)        

Passed away peacefully, at Brampton Civic Hospital, on August 10, 2011 at the age of 74. Dear husband and best friend of Diane for 46 years. Loving father of Julieann. Doting grandfather of Vanessa. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his niece Kristy and her husband Kevin and little Madelyn and niece Davielynn and her family. He is also survived by three cousins: Bernice, Marilyn, and Greg, and their extended families. he will be greatly missed by his singing friends.

On behalf of The Barons of Barbershop, The Dukes of Harmony and all Barbershoppers throughout Ontario District, we express our deepest condolences to Diane and the Lewis family.  Bruce will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and singing with him.  For those who sat on his knee or posed for a picture at Christmas time at the Dukes of Harmony annual Christmas Party, his magical presence in his red attire will be missed, but his memory will live on forever.  Rest in peace, Bruce.      

Family and friends will be received at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME “Brampton Chapel,” 289 Main Street North, Brampton (905-451-1100) on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 10-11a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Memorial donations made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciate.
